Ugandan Ghetto Kids at Britain's Got Talent | Kikis History

Judge Bruno Tonioli made history by pressing the golden buzzer midway through a performance on a reality TV talent show. The judge was so delighted with “Uganda Ghetto Kids” that after their outstanding performance, he stated that he was looking forward to seeing them again on stage. The golden buzzer indicates that the multi-talented children have qualified for the semi-finals.

"The Ghetto Kids" are a group of 30 orphans cared after by Mr. Daouda Kavuma.

They are Katwe slum children from Kampala, Uganda. Mr. Daouda, whom they all call "Daddy," teaches them dance and uses it as a means of providing food, clothing, and shelter, as well as sending them to school.

They were just on "Britain's Got Talent," and they stunned the world by being the first group to ever receive a GOLDEN BUZZER midway through their performance.

It's the delight on their faces; these are children that have been through the WORST, but you can see the pure joy on their cheeks.

Mr. Daouda will be blessed for this, and I'm rooting for them to win.

Glittering Golden Confetti 

Bruno Tonioli, the legendary dance judge, astonished and speechless the audience on Britain's Got Talent by tapping the Golden Buzzer for the outstanding dance trio. 

In a Facebook video, Bruno was so taken with their incredible performance that he couldn't stop himself halfway through the set and smashed down on the golden button, showering the astounded “Ghetto kids” with sparkling confetti. 

Simon Cowell was taken startled by both the "Ghetto Kids" outstanding performance and the fact that his newest judge had hit the Golden Buzzer mid-performance. 

"That has never actually occurred. Normally, the Golden Buzzer is then pressed. He presented you with the Golden Buzzer, and you danced in the confetti. "It was fantastic," Cowell said.

Britain's Got Talent 2023

The 2023 season of Britain's Got Talent has officially begun. And one of Africa's most famous dance groups, "The Ghetto Kids" from Uganda, opted to be a part of the performance after winning "The Golden Buzzer."

Simon Cowell, 63, Amanda Holden, 52, Alesha Dixon, 44, and newcomer Bruno Tonioli, 67, remain as judges.

The Ghetto Kids are a group of 30 youngsters living in an orphanage in Uganda. They delivered an energetic performance that wowed all of the judges.

While The Ghetto Kids were performing on stage, Italian choreographer Bruno Tonioli couldn't contain his excitement and chose to press the golden buzzer.

"I was literally bursting at the seams." You should be proud of yourself, and I can't wait to see you again."

"I've got to do it now," Tonioli remarked before pressing the buzzer, which meant the ensemble proceeded directly to the live concerts.

The Triplets Ghetto youngsters did not stop dancing, but instead continued their show while dancing on golden confetti, according to The Heritage Time.

On the ‘Choir Boy’; Malakai Bayoh,

Head judge Simon chose choirboy Malakai Bayoh, 13, as his Golden Buzzer auditionee, with the singing reducing the panel to tears.

Fans at home demanded that he win the £250,000 prize and perform in front of King Charles and Queen Camilla at the Royal Variety Performance later this year.

Uganda Ghetto Kids had a spectacular debut on Britain's Got Talent, leaving an indelible impression on both the judges and the public.

They made history with their amazing dance performance. The golden buzzer, which is supposed to be touched at the end of the program, was pressed in the middle of the performance by one of the judges who couldn't stop smiling as he watched the kids dance.

The orphanage, is led by "Daouda Kavuma", houses 30 homeless children, some of them are orphans.

According to their founder, Ugandan ghetto kids are on a mission to uplift children in all aspects of their lives by using the power of song and drama to create a brighter future.

With their remarkable dancing performances, Ugandan ghetto kids have captured the attention of the entire world. Their dedication to dance has garnered them national and worldwide fame.

These individuals choose to compete on the hit British television reality show British Got Talent in order to obtain wider recognition for their talents.

The Ghetto Kids group was able to secure a position on the competition show, and their performance was memorable.

Ugandan Ghetto Kids lit up the room with their first performance, getting the crowd and judges on their feet and ecstatic about what the kids were performing.
